Taking advantage of a bright sunny winter day in the Colchagua Valley, we invited our grower/partners to enjoy some time to take in the wonders of Mother Nature. We were all able to learn, share, and understand the amazing growing cycle of the finest Chilean black truffles.
Under the guidance of Rafael Enriquez, VP of the Chilean Truficulture Assoc, he was able to share some of his knowledge to our invitees as they put their hands in the dirt to smell the particular essence of the black truffles. The ¨Black Diamond¨ arrived in Chile in the year 2000 to stay and continues to grow as a Chilean export to the world of chefs.
The event was rounded out by a delicious menu using the truffles we harvested just hours before by the chefs of Viu Manent´s Rayuela Restaurant. During the lunch we were able to share laughs and friendship with our grower/partners to continue forging the Fruteec Family. During this exchange of old and new friends, several new projects for Fruteec Chile Spa were born to continue the stellar growth for years to come.
